Academic road to success For the young academic I made a record that tells their story: It seems from the outside that this is a very successful group. inside out day Housing association Niesten organizes an annual meeting to talk to their residents. At 11 different tables, people discussed different topics. A number of these conversations are visually summarized in the record.

GPRI Biscuit Bin The General Practioner Research Institute (GPRI) conducts scientific research in primary care, at the general practitioner or pharmacy. As a Christmas present, they gave all the general practitioners and pharmacists who work with them a cookie jar with homemade cookies. I designed the cookie jar for them in which I incorporated the core values of GPRI.

Innovative technological solutions can reduce the burden on healthcare. The aim of this study is to map differences and barriers to health in COPD patients in 4 European countries. What do they encounter? What advantages and disadvantages do they see? I made this drawing for Assistant Professor EHealth Esther Metting at the UMCG.

visualization Patient information and questionnaires I do not understand Oh my, it's so many words I'm not going to read all of that Couldn't that be simpler and shorter? now i understand and i know what to do Incorrect use of medication, uncompleted questionnaires, not at the appointment to appear , is common among people who find it difficult to understand the information that goes with it . And you don't have to be low literate for that. It is therefore important that healthcare providers critically examine their information material and questionnaires to ensure that they are written in such a clear and understandable way that they are attractive to read. By IMAGE and WORD combining this with each other lowers the threshold for many people to read information and the chance that it will also be understood is much greater. A visual is also ideal for explaining difficult medical information on the basis of a drawing. A doctor or nurse can use the pictures to explain a disease or treatment.
