animation Do you want to explain a complex process simply and clearly? An animation captivates and holds the attention. As a result, the information is better processed and remembered. And more importantly, it stimulates our emotional brain. Simple and easy I keep the animations as simple as possible. Precisely because of the simplicity, the message sticks better and the viewer is not distracted by side issues. When do you use animation - to convey information - creating brand awareness and perception My method We start with a design session. I do this (preferably physically) together with you or in a working group, by looking for the subject, the goal, the target group and the questions that need to be answered. The content of the animation should become crystal clear during this conversation. What emotion do you want to convey? What are the key messages? We'll end this session with a script, broken up into small chunks that form the scenes. I make the storyboard based on the script and the scenes. The storyboard is a collection of the text, the drawings and the movement and/or sound effects. The text is finalized at this stage. Based on the storyboard, the final drawings are created. Only small changes are possible after this step. If desired, a voice-over will be recorded and all will be animated. During the whole process you can give feedback so you get a perfect animation at the end. The entire animation can also be made into a visual. After delivery adjustments are based on hourly rate. Guidelines Maximum number of scenes per minute: 10 - 12 Maximum words per minute: 100 - 130 Ideal duration Research shows that after 1.5 minutes no less than 70% of your viewers will drop out. So keep it short and concise! A meaningful portrait A personal portrait, told in images. Some people deserve a special tribute. At a farewell, anniversary or other milestone you want to give something that goes beyond a gift. Something that encapsulates meaning — and invites storytelling. In a personal drawing I try to literally give shape to someone's story. Each part in the illustration refers to a moment, a quality, a memory. Together they form an image, but separately they each carry their own story. This not only makes the drawing a personal gift, but also a way for you to look back, reflect and share your story. A gift that touches and speaks. Please contact us examples

Patient journey Pain rehab Anneke Beetsma,PhD candidate at the Healthy Aging, Allied Health Care and Nursing Lectorate of the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen and the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) would like to have the figure on the left visualized and explained in a more understandable drawing. It was a challenging puzzle. It mainly required a substantive understanding of the figure. But fortunately with the help of Anneke and her team we came up with a beautiful visualization. The figure represents the path of a successful rehabilitation process from the perspective of people with persistent pain. Pain rehabilitation is often developed top-down by clinicians and researchers. This project investigated the meaningful learning experiences of rehabilitation patients who have made significant improvements in dealing with persistent pain. The 7 themes developed provide a new conceptual understanding of how pain rehabilitation could promote recovery. The themes strongly support: Personalized care, Pain dialogue and personal growth, from the perspective of the recovering patient. The supported therapeutic relationship is considered a crucial factor for improvement.

  • Praatplaat of Infographic? | VisualPower050

Visual or infographic? A VISUAL and an INFOGRAPHIC are both means of communication. On the basis of drawings and the composition on which the drawing is built, you can make complicated or important themes, ideas, visions or stories clear to the other person. But what are the differences between the two? This is discussed in more detail in the attached drawing. And is this drawing a talking point or an infographic? I'm curious about your opinion!

  • Patientinformation | VisualPower050

visualization Patient information and questionnaires I do not understand Oh my, it's so many words I'm not going to read all of that Couldn't that be simpler and shorter? now i understand and i know what to do Incorrect use of medication, uncompleted questionnaires, not at the appointment to appear , is common among people who find it difficult to understand the information that goes with it . And you don't have to be low literate for that. It is therefore important that healthcare providers critically examine their information material and questionnaires to ensure that they are written in such a clear and understandable way that they are attractive to read. By IMAGE and WORD combining this with each other lowers the threshold for many people to read information and the chance that it will also be understood is much greater. A visual is also ideal for explaining difficult medical information on the basis of a drawing. A doctor or nurse can use the pictures to explain a disease or treatment. When a patient takes this visual home is much more likely that the information has been understood and remembered. Please contact us examples Medical visuals Questionnaires patient information
